 Bio 
Borderwars is a San Francisco Bay Area Thrash Metal band. 
 
The band has played 100s of shows from 2002 to 08 through the course of 6 US tours and has been on a "live" hyatus since then. 
They were on the bill with such acts as Testament, Exodus, Soulfly, Metal Church, Obituary, Full Blown Chaos, Alabama Thunder Pussy, Nonpoint, No Use For A Name, The Offspring, Skindred, The Unseen, Avenged Sevenfold, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Dropkick Murphys, Darkest Hour, Fall Out Boys, Tsunami, My Chemical Romance and many more..  
   
Tulio (Currency .357, Mad Drama), Leon Marcelis (Inruin, Stagnant), Nate Phillips (Currency .357) and Vince Graham joined forces and wrote the album "The Present Day"- Recorded and co-produced by sound "engine-ear" Billy Anderson (Eyehategod, The Melvins, Neurosis, Fantomas..) at the Sharkbite Studios in Oakland,Ca and mixed by sound engineer Patrick Damiani at the Tidalwave Studios in Germany.
  
"The Present Day" follows "Never Surrender", a 1st album recorded by Matt Strickland (Duds) at HITWall Studios in South San Francisco, Ca but never released due to major line-up changes.
 
The band is now working on the follow up to "The Present Day" while the latter is now out since  2014.
